It covers an area of 33 hectares. At the end of 2015, the Wrocław Zoo presented over 10 500 animals (not including invertebrates) from 1132 species (the third largest zoo in the world in this respect). It is the fifth most visited zoo in Europe with a daily entry record of 28,300 people.
